How do I get to the venue?
The venue is approximately 15 minutes from Mosier, up windy gravel roads with poor cell reception. We strongly advice guests to take the shuttle to the venue, which will depart the Best Western Hotel in Hood River at 2:30 pm. Portland residents: You can part at the Best Western, and take the shuttle from there. Shuttles will leave the reception hourly, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you absolutely cannot take the shuttle, please see the Venue page for directions.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive in time for the start of the ceremony, which will begin at 4 pm.
Where should I park?
If you prefer to drive yourself, you will be directed to parking upon your arrival. Parking is free.
What should I wear?
Casual attire. Be sure to dress appropriately for an indoor/outdoor event.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn’t I wear?
The wedding will be indoor and outdoor event, weather permitting. Please plan accordingly.
Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?
Absolutely not. Wear what you like!
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by May 17th, 2014.
I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
Please see the Accommodations page. We have reserved rooms at the Historic Hood River Hotel. Other hotels you may consider include the Best Western Hood River Inn and The Columbia Gorge Inn. The more adventurous among you are welcome to camp at the venue site – we will just ask that you tear down your tents for Saturday day, and set up your tents late Saturday evening.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes.
Will food be served?
Yes! A buffet-style dinner will be served.
Will there be dancing?
By god, there will be dancing!
What time will the reception end?
We have to shut down the party at 11pm – that is when the last bus will leave.
Will last names be changing after the wedding?
No. But you are welcome to call us the Clearys (or Tonsfeldts!) for convenience. Or, just Karen & Dan.
